The French Civil Aviation Authority (DGAC) appointed Edeis, a French company specialised in engineering and managing complex infrastructures, as the delegate for the public authorities for Aix-Les Milles airport for a duration of 45 years from 1 January 2018.
The Aix-Les Milles aerodrome is dedicated to business aviation and to leisure and public service flights. It is a focal point for the development and attractiveness of the Aix area. The Aix airport provides the local economy with alternative solutions to Marseille-Provence airport in terms of mobility and business.
The airport combines aircraft maintenance and construction activities – the airline Twinjet, the maintenance company Kerozen and the helicopter manufacturer Guimbal – along with ten or so companies and flying schools, providing almost 110 jobs.
The site's property development project includes offices and warehouses for companies in all sectors of activity.
